KytyPS5 Guide is an independent, English-language reference site for people researching the KytyPS5 open-source PlayStation 5 emulator.

What we publish

The site explains the project’s published downloads, platform requirements, installation steps, controls, game-folder layout, troubleshooting paths and update workflow. It also republishes the project’s public compatibility reports in a searchable format, keeping each report’s tested build, date, platform, hardware, result and source link together.

The compatibility list is a record of community tests. “In game” means gameplay was reached in the recorded test; it does not promise a complete playthrough, a stable frame rate or support on every computer. The site does not run the games, grade the reports or turn a report into a recommendation.

Independence and attribution

This is not the official KytyPS5 project site and is not affiliated with Sony Interactive Entertainment, PlayStation or the KytyPS5 maintainers. KytyPS5 is an open-source project; downloads link directly to the project’s GitHub release host. The compatibility export is used under its published GPL-2.0-only licensing terms, with original report attribution and source links retained.

What we do not provide

• No games, PS5 firmware, BIOS files, PKG files or copyrighted system software.
• No repackaged emulator binaries or unofficial patches.
• No claim that a title is safe, complete, fast or compatible beyond the exact published report.

Keeping the information current

Release metadata is checked against the official GitHub API. Compatibility data is imported from the project’s published JSON database.
