PRIVACY
How this site handles information.
This policy explains what the independent KytyPS5 Guide collects, why it uses that information and how to contact the site about privacy questions.
Information collected by this site
The site does not require an account, collect a name or run a comment system. The production site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure page visits. Depending on your browser and region, Google Analytics may collect information such as the page viewed, referring page, approximate location, browser, device, language and interaction events, and may store cookies or similar identifiers. The site does not send game files, emulator logs or the contents of your local folders to this website.
Cloudflare Pages and the release host may process ordinary technical request data such as an IP address, date, user agent and requested URL to deliver and protect the site. Downloads leave this site and are served by GitHub; GitHub’s own privacy policy applies to that request.
Cookies and advertising
This site currently does not load Google AdSense advertising code. An AdSense configuration is kept disabled until the publisher identity and consent settings are supplied.
If Google AdSense is enabled in a future deployment, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to measure advertising, prevent fraud and show personalized or non-personalized ads. Google’s use of data is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. You can manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. Before serving ads to users in regions that require consent, the site operator will configure a Google-certified consent management platform and update this policy and the consent controls.
Why information is used
Analytics information is used to understand which documentation pages are useful, find broken paths and improve site performance. Technical request data is used to deliver pages and protect the service. The site does not sell a visitor’s personal information or use analytics to identify a person by name.
Retention and choices
Google controls retention settings for Google Analytics data processed in its service. You can block cookies in your browser, use browser privacy controls or install Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking cookies may affect measurement but does not prevent access to the public pages or downloads.
Third-party links
Pages link to GitHub, Google, the official KytyPS5 compatibility site and other sources. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Opening an external link or download sends the request to that service.
Privacy questions and requests
For a privacy question or request, use the contact page. Please do not include passwords, game dumps, firmware, logs containing personal data or other sensitive material in a public issue. We may need enough information to identify the relevant page or request, but the site does not promise that every third-party data record can be changed here.
Policy changes
This policy may change when analytics, advertising, hosting or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page records the latest material review.
